The Stillness Within

The Stillness Within captures a serene moment in the life of the Buddha, seated in deep meditation beneath the spreading branches of the sacred Bodhi tree. The Buddha’s form, gently illuminated, radiates a calm presence, symbolizing the depth of inner peace. His eyes are closed in tranquil focus, as if untouched by the world around him, embodying a sense of timeless wisdom.

The colour palette—a harmonious blend of cool blues, warm yellows, and vibrant oranges—reflects both the quietude of dawn and the glowing energy of enlightenment. Soft blues  represent the calm of introspection and the endless expanse of spiritual depth. Warm hues of yellow and orange radiate outward from his form, like the first light breaking over a dark horizon, symbolising the dawn of awareness and the glow of transcendence.

Above him, the Bodhi tree’s branches arch protectively, their leaves appearing as delicate strokes of blue, merging earth with sky. Together, the Buddha and the Bodhi tree invite the viewer into a world of stillness, where the silence of meditation transforms into profound clarity and peace.
